Confidence Isn’t Noise

Walking the line of confidence is a very thin one.
One step too far to the right -> you come across as cocky.
One step too far to the left -> you come across as insecure.

I've learned to stay somewhere in the middle: Speaking less, listening more, and taking in the entire room. When it's my turn, I make sure it counts.

Some people confuse confidence with having to prove themselves, or the strong urge to fill all the empty space; but confidence isn't noise. It's knowing when to speak, and being completely comfortable in silence.

Confidence doesn't rush to be heard...
It is spoken with intention and lands exactly when it's needed.

I am confident. Proud of what I've learned and where I'm at today; but I stay grounded, because no matter how much we know, there's always something new to learn, more to contribute, and more to build alongside others.

This is my Craft.
